Welcome to À table! Edition 6 — your weekly bundle of simple, satisfying dinner ideas, all in one place. If you’re new here, every Monday I round up three easy suppers to help answer that daily ‘What’s for dinner?’ moment. I’m still asking myself the same question most evenings — usually while staring into the fridge hoping inspiration appears.
This week we’re going for a little pancake theme… but with a twist. Consider it the alternative edition to ease you into all the pancake flipping coming up next week. First up: prawn and spring onion pancakes, inspired by Vietnamese lacy rice pancakes — naturally gluten free and utterly delicious. Then we’ve got rich emerald green galettes (also gluten free), earthy, savoury, and a bit of fun to make. And for something fresh and colourful, a bright roasted root veg salad with a lemon and garlic mayonnaise — the technique is so simple and foolproof you’ll never bother with shop-bought again.
