The people have spoken and I have listened. You guys suggested I make a toastie version of my cheat's pain au chocolat. A melted chocolate centre sounded too good to not try out. But you know me, never one to not try and put a spin on things. So I was thinking what would happen if I coated the sandwich in a spiced sugar mix?
Sugar + butter + heat = Crème brûlée crust.
The cold scoop of vanilla ice cream in combination with the gooey warm chocolate made for an utterly indulgent dessert. And all that in literally minutes. Too easy!
