I was tasked with presenting an award, a prospect that filled me with absolute terror. It's funny, really; performing a live cookery demo in a foreign language on national TV to millions doesn't faze me, but put me in front of a microphone on a stage, and my stomach starts doing somersaults. Despite my apprehension, I made the decision to push myself outside of my comfort zone and take on the challenge. And I can report back that I'm still standing after that nerve-wracking yet rewarding experience.
