I recently split my stoneware roasting tin straight down the middle by putting it on the burning hob! So any sort of roasting tin is desperately needed right now!

By the way, loving all the recipes being on here now Rachel, I can find them really quickly now!

Hi Aimee! So wonderful to see you’ve hopped over. Sounds like you do desperately need some roasting tins!

I have only 1 enamel pie dish. It’s been with me for decades. My father gave it to me.

It’s my favourite dish. My kitchen is dying for a roasting tin. It will last forever

I just bought my first home, and these gorgeous Falcon items are calling out to me! The loaf tins in particular, as mine (bought from Ikea in my student days) are on their very last life.

PS - loving the new substack and how easy it is to browse through the recipes for weeknight dinner inspo.

Thanks for this opportunity. I actually tend to appreciate the aesthetic and sentimental resonances of trusty, long-owned, well-worn utensils, but of course today's pristine acquisitions will eventually join their weathered ranks after a few years' use. My tatty kitchen itself (floor, furniture, sink etc) could do with a makeover, to put it mildly.

Hello Francis! Lovely to see you over on my new substack home. There's something very wonderful about trusty old utensils that tell a story. But I can imagine a few new additions would be welcome too!

Thanks for your kind personal welcome, Rachel, though I of course understand individual attentions may become spread more thinly as higher numbers of supporters gradually participate on this platform. I have only superficially browsed it so far, but - at the risk of contradicting my point regarding the appeal of older, quainter things - the interface seems much smoother than the previous site's.
